We are really looking forward to worshipping together next Saturday and welcoming Bishop Mike to explore how we are all called to be involved in the work of the Kingdom of God. If you have not signed up please do just turn up even if it is just for a part of the day.

Over the last month a small group of us have been exploring the course “How to lead an unsuccessful life.” Its been a great opportunity so far to pause and reflect on those things that influence how we feel about ourselves, how we relate to others and our relationship with God.
The input for one of the weeks has got me thinking about theme of influence – what influences me and what I seek to influence and how does this fit in with my call to be a follower of Jesus?
A huge thank you for your support of Boost in 2024. We’ve seen a busy start to the year, most recently with the whole of Year 7 coming to the Garden during their health and wellbeing enrichment day. Thank you to Rev. Chris and to Jean for leading a session around the campfire, reflecting on mental health, wellbeing, and noticing things in creation around us, and to all the other volunteers who joined us from local churches throughout the day.
I hope you had a joyful Christmas and were able to find time to reflect on all it means that God came to be with us to enable us to have a relationship with Him. It was a joy to celebrate this amazing news in a whole variety of ways, from the Nine Lessons and Carols, Civic Carols, to school carol services, Christingle and a crib service to name just a few. Thank you to all who participated and enabled such a warm welcome to be offered at all we hosted. It is wonderful to be able to show God’s love in such a generous way.
