KFS thumbnail image1It was a pleasure to welcome pupils from Kingsfleet Primary School last week as part of their learning about Rock Materials. They looked at different materials in the church and explored the differing rocks in the graveyard.

Jean Mac reports it was a joy to host the class and that she learnt to.

We love supporting our local primary schools where we can.

Old Felixstowe Parish Nursing service is going from strength to strength.

Helen received her Parish Nursing qualification in August and Ruth has achieved her Parish Nursing Assistant qualification too.

The service achieved full accreditation from Parish Nursing Ministries UK in September. Many thanks to the team for all their hard work in this.

On Tuesday 21st November it was a pleasure to welcome over 100 key stage two children from Kingsfleet School to explore the theme of Advent and waiting.

On Sunday 8th October we sadly said farewell to Emma as she completed her curacy here in Old Felixstowe. Emma preached at all the services and asked us to think about what it means to go as Jesus commanded, even when we may not be moving geographically. We also had an opportunity to pray for Emma as a church community.
