We are very grateful for the advances in treating and living with Covid 19 and are in a very different position to where we have been for the last two years. However there is still a lot of covid around and it has the ability to make people feel very unwell as Helen and I can testify.

Going forward we will continue to follow public health guidance and seek to look out for each other:

  • Whilst masks are not required, if you have cold type symptoms please wear one.
  • We should continue with sanitising our hands
  • If you are feeling quite unwell with cold type symptoms please avoid coming to certain events and services.
  • If you have come into close contact with someone who has had covid please wear a mask and keep a
distance when meeting people for a few days.

Sponsorship forms for those wanting to take part in this year's Ride and Stride event are now available. Most churches are expecting to be open with people on hand to sign in walkers and riders, though a few may still be 'self -service' (unmanned with a sign-in sheet on a table) as in the past two years.

If you are taking part, please nominate Old Felixstowe Parish to receive half of the sponsorship money you raise - the rest will go to the Suffolk Historic Churches Trust for the upkeep of the county's wonderful places of worship.
