Welcome to Old Felixstowe Parish, part of the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich. I am delighted that you have begun to join us for worship and hope that you are blessed by coming to be with us.

We seek to offer a warm and welcoming space where we learn about Jesus and grow in our faith together. Whether you are new to church, returning after some time away, or simply exploring faith, you are very welcome here. You do not need to have everything worked out — this is a place to journey together, ask questions, and discover God’s love.

My prayer for everyone who comes to join us is that they will find this to be a place where they are blessed, and where they can also be a blessing to others. I would encourage you to take time to get to know us and to prayerfully consider whether you might play a part in what we believe God is calling us to do in this place and at this time.

Across the parish there are three church buildings. Our regular services are mostly held at St Andrew and St Peter & St Paul, and during the summer months we hold evening services at St Nicholas at the Ferry. Our main Sunday services vary in style, though the teaching is similar, and we hope they are spaces where each of us can encounter God and grow in our relationship with Him and with one another.

Our vision is to live, show, and tell the love of God: becoming more like Jesus and drawing others to Him. We seek to do this in a variety of ways, and we hope this pack will give you a taste of how we aim to live out that calling together.

You are very welcome among us, and we are glad you are here.
