On Tuesday 21st November it was a pleasure to welcome over 100 key stage two children from Kingsfleet School to explore the theme of Advent and waiting.

Through engaging with a variety of activities we explored the themes of Hope, Peace, Joy and Love, thinking about how we should look to live as people who live out those values through advent and beyond, rather than simply seeing Advent as ticking off the days until Christmas.

The children were so engaged and responded excellently to the ideas and thoughts we shared - a huge thank you to the staff who brought them to the church and to the fantastic team from the church who made it such a wonderful day.
