It is a very sad occasion when people have to organise a funeral.  At Old Felixstowe Parish, we are here to help and to journey alongside those who are bereaved.  The usual procedure is to approach a Funeral Director, make arrangements for either a burial or cremation, and then they will contact the church.  If you do not know which Funeral Director to contact, please contact us and we will provide you with a list.  Either St Andrew’s or St Peter and St Paul’s can be used for the service, which may end, or precede, a burial at the cemetery or a cremation at our local crematorium. Clergy also take services at the local crematoria.

We are here to help you with the organisation of the service. After your telephone call with the Funeral Director, a member of the clergy will contact you directly to discuss the funeral with you.

We are here for you after the funeral as well and feel privileged to journey alongside you.
