In the light of the government’s change in regulations we have decided we will adopt the following approach to worship together on Sunday mornings as we head to the next few weeks. All our Sunday morning worship will continue to be held in St Andrews as it is the largest church and government guidelines suggest spacious indoor spaces are less likely to see transmission of Covid.

On entering the church we encourage people to sanitise their hands and continue to wear a mask until sat down. Once people have sat down they are free to remove their masks if they wish. We ask that people are aware of keeping space between themselves and others and respect that some people may feel uncomfortable with the changes.

At the 11:00pm service we will continue to sing outside before and after the service. We are planning to add a hymn whilst in the building. If you feel uncomfortable with communal singing and would like to continue to wear a mask, we have designated the rear four pews of the church to be a non-singing area.

We are aware that people feel differently about the changes at this time and as God’s people we are called to demonstrate His love – this means we must be sensitive to the needs of others as we worship together.

We have decided that currently we will receive communion in one kind only.

We will continue to review as we head forward.

Our online services will also continue.

  • 8:00am – BCP Communion – 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month
  • 9:30am – Worship from the study – every week
  • 11:00am – Worship from St Andrews – every week
