At Old Felixstowe Parish we seek to provide an environment where all ages can grow in their faith. In relation to families and children we do this in a variety of ways.
In all our 10:30 services which are not All Age we offer Sunday School for children. This offers an opportunity to explore Christianity using Bible stories, games and activities. Children leave part way through the service and return by the end of the main service.
All Age Worship
Once a month, on the fourth Sunday of the month, we join together to praise and learn about Jesus across the ages. This usually has an interactive talk, prayer activities and music is led by a band.
As a parish we seek to bless our community. “Come and…” is aimed at children and their families who attend primary schools in the Parish. Each month a different activity is planned, such as cooking, building and growing. Children and their carers work together and have fun.

It is held on the third Tuesday of every month, from 3:45pm until 5pm, at the Old Felixstowe Community Association.
As a parish we seek to work with our local primary schools to help them deliver the RE curriculum and assemblies. Revd Chris along with others go into school to deliver lessons and assemblies. Classes also come to the church buildings to learn about Easter, communion and other significant parts of the Christian life.
We are always delighted to be involved and serve in whatever way benefits the schools.
As a church we support the work of the BOOST chaplaincy at Felixstowe academy financially, practically and in prayer. Members of the parish join in with BOOST activities and a number join Josh, the chaplain for prayers on a Thursday morning.
