Old Felixstowe is a growing residential parish for all ages, extending along the seafront from the town centre to Felixstowe Ferry.  Grand Edwardian villas sit comfortably alongside modern housing developments that support our port and local businesses as well as our substantial retired community.  The parish seeks to actively engage with all, from our playgroups and primary schools to the elderly and housebound, through initiatives including:

Clergy participation in school programmes and family activities in our churches

Nursing Home, hospital and private home visits, including Holy Communion

Community arts and heritage events in our churches

A weekly pop-up shop (new January 2019)
In association with Basic Life Charity. The pop-up shop offers customers a carrier bag at £1 each (maximum of two per customer) and allow them to fill the bags with food which has been donated to us by local food retailers or food from our Food Bank which is close to expiry. We will also offer a range of clothing items at greatly reduced prices.

A monthly after-school event for primary aged children "Come and..."  (new January 2019)

Resources for local counselling programmes including Felixstowe Listening Service, CAP, Town Pastors

Regular mission-funding to BOOST and Hope Trust (local youth and elderly support organisations)
